One Sentence: 103 words

Katrina screamed at the top of her lungs until her voice gave way and her throat felt as though it were made of barbed wire. It felt good to release the tension she had harboured for so long, but the outburst did not relieve her of it entirely. Instead it caused her an unsteady realisation that the secret would always remain hers, that she would never be free of it, that no amount of screaming would ever make up for the fact that she had carelessly given away her first child in order to selfishly live the life she believed she so deserved.
