I managed to write six hundred words today. I’m exploring my new novel idea and developing my main protagonist; whom I’m actually fascinated by! I find her interesting and although she has multiple flaws I kinda like her, even though no other character does. She intrigues me and I’m getting to find out what my other characters think of her, and it’s suprising to discover that she isn’t a very likable person: but it’s exciting to write!

  1. Some of the best characters in literature are the ones who are misunderstood. As you see them come to life on the page, you take the journey of discovering that character as he or she discovers him or herself. It’s fascinating process and it sounds that you’re right on the money!
